Coconut shell activated carbon is known for high hardness, low dust
\nand is more abrasion resistant than any other type. It is a totally
\nnatural, environmentally friendly product, that has a very small
\ncarbon foot print, since it is derived from coconut shells. As most of
\nits pore structure consists of micro pores (more than 80%), coconut
\nshell carbon can efficiently absorb impurities with micropore
\nmolecular structure, such as those present in drinking water. In
\naddition, because of its high abrasion resistance and exceptional
\nchemical and physical characteristics, only coconut shell activated
\ncarbon can support applications such as recovery of gold and other
